We are looking forward to having Dr. Josette Gordon-Simet speak at this month's Lunch and Learn via Zoom on July 30th at noon. Dr. Gordon-Simet will discuss the affects of Covid-19 as it pertains to the health and safety of our churches and community, especially now as we look to lessening/reducing restrictions.

Dr. Gordon-Simet is a board-certified family medicine physician and is the Chief Medical Officer for Think Whole Person Healthcare in Omaha. She has previously worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield Nebraska and CHI Health Clinic, where she served as a member of the clinic leadership team with oversight of several provider clinics.
Dr. Gordon-Simet is passionate about patient education, support of childhood health improvement initiatives, and the health of our community by promoting wellness programs, preventive screenings, nutrition and physical activity. She is a board member of Building Health Futures, a non-profit organization focused on improving the health of the community's under-served children and youth through collaboration and advocacy.  She is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She is recognized as a distinguished alumna of the University of Nebraska-Omaha Executive MBA program where she completed an MBA in 2012. She recently completed a master's in finance from Bellevue University. We are grateful and honored that she is willing to give us some of her time and thoughts on this frequently changing subject.
