Like many of you, we have been monitoring the impact of COVID-19, the Coronavirus, in our community and its impact on upcoming events and meetings. Your health and safety is of the utmost important to us, so we have decided to cancel our legacy workshop. We will try to share the information for this workshop with you either through a live stream or in some other way down the road. Many prayers for all of you to stay well and healthy!

The Nebraska United Methodist Foundation will offer one-day regional church training workshops to help equip pastors and lay persons to begin and/or grow their Legacy Ministries. A Legacy Ministry (Endowment Ministry) is about inviting persons of your congregation to leave a lasting legacy through a planned gift. This ministry is based on the belief that God is still at work in the community and by giving generously you can change lives of those who will come after you. 

Topics covered will include: Theology of Giving, Behavior Around Stewardship, Developing a Legacy, Tools to Grow, and Cultivating Generosity to Change Lives.
